A NEW MISSION AT LAKESIDE CHURCH! Starting this fall, LPC will be hosting the Tornado Pack Program. Each week, volunteers will gather for about an hour to pack shelf-stable food, such as juice boxes, granola bars, small cereal boxes, canned fruit, microwavable cups of noodles or macaroni & cheese, etc. to pack in ziplock bags for students to take home every Friday. This program has helped hundreds of school kids over the past three years. Lakeside is excited to be the new host. Volunteers are needed. We hope individuals and families will work together. This ministry will also be open to area churches, service organizations, and the community at large.

Plans for times to pack the bags: 1st week of month = Sunday after church 2nd week of month = Thursday afternoon, 3:00 P.M. 3rd week of month = Monday evening, 7:00 P.M. 4th week of month = Tuesday evening, 5:30 P.M. 5th week of month = TBD
