In 2008 and 2009,
Lakeside sent groups to Waterloo and Iowa
City to assist with flood cleanup. In January
2010, a group of eight Lakeside
members traveled to New Orleans to help
with recovery from Hurricane Katrina, working
with Presbyterian
Disaster Assistance and Project
Homecoming.
If you have Facebook, check out the photos
from the recent dedication of Kim and
Mark Ford's new home, which we worked on
in January.
When and where will we go next? Stay tuned
for your chance to help us decide.
Lakeside Presbyterian
Church welcomes you
Whether
you want to get together to enjoy the company of others
or desire an intimate, confidential support group, there
is a place for you at Lakeside Presbyterian Church.
Whether you are just beginning to open your Bible or
looking for an in-depth, focused study of the Scriptures,
there is an opportunity for you at Lakeside.
Our goal is to be an inviting and inclusive community
where needs are met and the faithful are empowered to
use their gifts.
We welcome any opportunity to join with you on your
journey of faith. If you need transportation to any
church activity, please do not hesitate to call the
church office. The church has elevator access to each
floor.
Prayer Chain
Prayer Chain is an ongoing prayer ministry of family
of Christ by individuals who have committed themselves
to pray for the needs of others, both members and non-members.
Prayer requests are welcome at any time. Requests for
prayer are then passed on by email and remain confidential.
To make a prayer request, just e-mail the church.
You may also email us
if you would like to be added to the prayer group.
Lakeside Presbyterian Church occassionally
sends out email updates on happenings in the church. If
you would like to be added to the list, email the church.
